Dans la cabine

For the very first Dans la cabine of the year, we’re spotlighting the men in our lives: dads, best buds, brothers, and/or the father (or future father!) of our children. We’re taking advantage of Father’s Day to celebrate their devotion and strong points, as well as to suggest some colorful clothing choices.

Nicolas Titltey, MusiquePlus and Musimax VJ, was kind enough to let us transform him into an urban dad during a fitting. We’re not trying to start a rumor here—Nicolas has no kids of his own but is a doting uncle to niece Chloé.

The first look (Nautical Flair) is a classic. It combines chic and casual, trading in standard pants for yellow bermudas from Stylexchange. It’s a sensible look for a guy about to embark on an adventure with his kids: from Father’s Day brunch to a fun boat ride.

Our second look protects Dad from bad weather while giving him a chance to relax in slightly holey, not-too-faded jeans. Our favorite pair hands down is from Jack & Jones. On his feet Dad wears TOMS in a camouflage pattern for a hint of rebel without sacrificing comfort.
