TWICE AS NICE IN 2022 PROMOTION
CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
(Hereinafter, the "rules")
1. CONTEST AND CONTEST PERIOD
The “TWICE AS NICE IN 2022 PROMOTION” (hereinafter the “contest”) is organized by JLL Canada (hereinafter the “organizer”). The contest begins Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 10:00am (ET) (hereinafter the “contest starting date”) and ends Monday, April 11, 2022 at 11:59pm (ET) at the latest (hereinafter the “contest end date”).
2.1 The contest is open to Quebec residents aged 18 or over on the starting date of the contest, excluding employees, representatives, agents, or all the shop employees of Place Montréal Trust, directors and officers of the organizer, its subsidiaries, its affiliates, its parent companies, their respective advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of equipment, prizes and services related to this contest and any other stakeholder directly related to the contest, and members of their families and those with whom they are domiciled.
2.2 Entries will be declared invalid if they are late, illegible, incomplete, irregular, forged, garbled or reproduced.
2.3 Participants should make a copy of their entry if they wish to keep a copy.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Twice as Nice in 2022 contest participant must Log onto Facebook and/or Instagram and visit the Sponsor’s Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/placemontrealtrust) or Instagram Account (https://www.instagram.com/placemtltrust) and follow the instructions per the giveaway post or follow the instructions per the Facebook or Instagram ad if you are targeted with it in your Facebook News Feed or Instagram Feed.
3.2 Contest Entry Restrictions. Participants of the Contest are not restricted to specific number of entries. Any attempt by any person to use (or attempt to use) multiple names and/or identities to enter the Contest will be invalid for purposes of the Contest and may in the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Organizer result in disqualification from the Contest.
3.4 The sole determinant of the time for purposes of a valid Entry in the Contest will be an official clock chosen by the Contest Organizer.
4. THE PRIZE(S)
There is a total of two (2) prize including:
- (2) $200 Place Montréal Trust gift cards (value: $400)
4.2 Value of prizes:
The total prizes are valued at $400.
5.1 A random draw will be held once on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
5.2 The following prizes will be awarded:

5.3 Place Montréal Trust will collect all entries and combine into one platform. Two winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries.
5.4 The prizes are awarded by random draw, after validation that the participants respect the present rules.
5.5 For all prizes, the chances of winning are proportional to the number of entries received. Place Montréal Trustwill send an email to each winner.
6. CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO THE PRIZE
6.1. Offered prizes must be accepted as is and is not exchangeable, refundable, transferable or redeemable. The cash value of the Place Montréal Trust gift card(s) is redeemable at participating retailer’s stores from Ivanhoé Cambridge shopping centers in Canada. 6.2. No purchase required.
7. CLAIMING PRIZES
7.1. To be declared a winner, the chosen participant must meet the following conditions:
- He/She must be reached by the Contest Organizers within two (2) business days of the draw date.
- He/She must present themselves at the Place Montréal Trust Guest Services Desk (metro level), present the winning email received, complete and sign a release form, present photo ID, show proof of residency in Québec, answer a mathematical question and have your picture taken for marketing purposes, within fifteen (15) business days of the draw date.
- The prize will be awarded on the same day that the waiver form will be signed.
7.2. Failure to meet one or other of the conditions mentioned above or any other condition in these rules, will result in disqualification of the selected entrant and the prize which would have been awarded will be forfeited. In that case, the contest organizer will proceed to a new random draw until a winner is determined, up to a maximum of three (3) draws per entry period mentioned in section five (5).
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS
8.1. Improper participation. The contest organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or cancel their participation if they enter or attempts to enter this contest in a manner that does not comply with the rules. This participant could be reported to the competent judicial authorities. Any decisions of the contest organizer regarding the contest are final and without appeal, subject to any decision of the Régie des alcools, on questions within its competence.
8.2. Replacement or modification of the prize in the contest. JLL Canada reserves the right to substitute one or more prizes or any part of them by a prize of approximately the same value and similar type or, in its sole discretion, the monetary value of the prize indicated in these Regulations. JLL Canada also reserves the right to modify the contest, suspend or terminate it at any time without notice, and subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Quebec, if required.
8.3. Prize limit. In all cases, the contest organizer will not be responsible for awarding more prizes or to award prizes other than those in accordance with these rules.
8.4. Limitation of Liability. The organizer assumes no responsibility for any problems, breakdown, technical malfunction of a network line, online computer system, peripheral telephone, software, server, provider, email, browser or technical malfunctions that may occur including, without limitation, a problem of transmission or non-transmission of an entry form, regardless of the cause. The organizer is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any equipment or programming used in the contest or by any technical or human error that could have occurred during the contest, including in the processing of entry forms. The organizer assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, loss or fault relating to operation or transmission, failure of communication lines, theft or destruction or unauthorized access or alterations of entry forms. All entry forms and declaration forms become the property of the organizer and will not be returned. The organizer reserves the right to destroy all documents relating to the contest once the retention period as required by law has expired.
8.5. Verification. Participation is declared invalid in case of delay or if it is illegible, incomplete, contrary to the rules, false or truncated.
8.6. Operation of the contest application. The contest organizer does not in any way guarantee that the platform on which is held the contest or the web pages of the contest or any related web site will be accessible or functional without interruption throughout the contest period or that it will be free of any errors.
8.7. Contest rollout. Any attempt to deliberately damage the operation of this contest or any related web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of the contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. If such attempts occur, the contest organizer reserves the right to reject the entrant's entries and obtain redress under the law.
8.8. Termination of participation in the contest. In the event that the computer system was not able to register all contest entries during the contest period, and that, for any reason, particularly because of verification by the platform on which the contest is held, or if participation in the contest must be terminated in whole or in part before the closing date provided in these rules, the draw may be held, at the discretion of the contest organizer, among the entries duly registered during the contest period or, if applicable, to the date of the event that ended participation in the contest.
8.9. Disclaimer: use of the prize. By entering this contest, any entrant selected for a prize release and holds harmless the contest organizers, any company, corporation, trust or other legal entity controlled by or affiliated to them, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives (the "Released Parties") from any damage he may suffer as a result of accepting or using the prize.
8.10. Liability limit: participation in the contest. By participating or attempting to participate in this contest, entrants release and hold harmless the beneficiaries of any damage they may incur due to their participation or attempted participation in the contest.
8.11. Consent to the use of human representation. By entering the contest, each registered participant consents to the use of their name, the name of their city of residence, photograph, likeness, voice, statement regarding the contest and any aspect of their person for publicity purposes in all media used by JLL Canada and its respective advertising and promotional agencies, without any payment or compensation.
8.12. Communication with participants. No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with entrants in this contest other than in accordance with these rules or on the initiative of the contest organizer.
8.13. Personal information. The personal information gathered about entrants in connection with this contest will only be used for the administration of this contest. No communication, commercial or otherwise, unrelated to this contest will be sent to entrants, unless the latter have otherwise agreed.
8.14. Where are the contest rules? The contest rules and regulations are available on the Place Montréal Trustwebsite and at the Guest Services desk (mentioned in 3.1) during the contest period or upon request in paper form to the Customer Service desk.
8.15. Compliance with the contest rules. All entrants agree to comply with the contest rules, which are subject to change at the sole discretion of JLL Canada, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, if required.
8.16. Winners. The winners may be obtained by writing to: “Twice as Nice in 2022 Promotion” Place Montréal Trust office, located at 1500, avenue McGill College Montreal, QC H3A 3J5
8.17. Compliance with laws in force. Contest is void in any jurisdiction where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable laws and all federal, provincial, territorial and municipal regulations in Canada.
8.18. RACJ. Any dispute regarding the organization or conduct of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
8.19. Severability of sections. If any section of this regulation is declared illegal, unenforceable or invalid by a competent court, that section shall be considered invalid, but all other paragraphs which are not affected will be enforced to the extent permitted by law.
